The season is almost upon us! With tinsel, baubles, and Christmas cakes already adorning the store shelves, I feel no shame in letting you know in advance the wines for you Christmas selection. At this year’s Amorim Cork Cap Classique Challenge the Simonsig Cuvee Royale 2005 came out tops, judged both Best Blanc de Blanc and Best Overall - the perfect start to the Christmas celebrations.

The Knorhoek Pantère 2006 is a new wine to our portfolio. This blend of 30% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Franc, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 20% Shiraz is drinking perfectly this year – the complex fruit flavours and soft tannin structure to match your choice of beef, ham or Turkey.
